WGC hosted a mock meet (non-judged meet) on December 6th at Jump Around Gymnastics in DeForest, WI.
Since this is a mock meet, it was not judged and was simply a great opportunity for new gymnasts to get used to performing routines and for experienced gymnasts to get back into the competitive mindset. It was also a great opportunity for members to show off their routines and skills! ​

Depart for Jump Around at 3:15 pm

Open warm up from 3:45pm-4:15pm

Finish routines at ~6:30pm, head to Culver's for a team dinner!

WGC had an awesome time hosting our very own mock meet! It was a low-stakes meet where members got to show their routines, cheer each other on, and simply have fun! We had 26 members compete: 11 competed in at least one MAG and one WAG event, and three completed a decathlon.

Pictured on the left, Hazel received the M&M candy cane for competing at her first-ever gymnastics meet! Hazel joined WGC at the beginning of the semester and has learned a great deal through her hard work and dedication. She also brought in a light-hearted and fun attitude throughout the meet.

Overall, we had a great time at mock meet and can't wait for our next meet in West Lafayette, IN at Purdue University!
